Top Tips

Before You Arrive

Ensure you have purchased your tickets and confirmed your High Tea restaurant dining experience option at pre-order, to peruse the menu click here. If you are driving be sure to book a parking space with our parking partner -this can be done here. On the show day be sure to print your parking ticket off and have admission tickets to hand. We do advise all guests to bring a cushion, our seats are part of touring show infrastructure and some guests find a cushion more comfortable.

Arrival

Upon arrival our main foyer opens where you can visit the bar while we check tickets. We're fully licensed and serve a range of premium alcoholic drinks, you can view the bar menu here

Bar and Food Prices

If you are a frequent attendee of events you will be familiar with event based pricing. Event based pricing explains why touring shows have to charge more for products which you may find cheaper else where.

Firstly...

As a touring show we operate seasonally which means we have large times of the year when we are closed or not out on the road running shows. This means our income is only being generated for  70% of the year compared to a permanent establishment which is open all year around.

We employ all of our highly skilled cast and crew, yes all of our crew are employed by us, they are employed all year round and we still have wages to pay when there are no shows operating.

Transport Costs...

We have to transport all of our equipment all over the UK on a fleet of lorries and sleeper coaches. This means diesel. Diesel now is very expensive and we have to cover the costs of this through ticket sales and on site revenue.

Refrigeration & Waste

As we only pop up in some locations, we have to keep all of our ingredients chilled in refrigerated artics, as of 2022 the Government removed red diesel which means we operate off pump price, yes the amount you pay to fill your car is the same price per litre we pay to power the generators that run the site. We also have increased waste because we can't keep ingredients that we don't sell that weekend so we have to offset that against other income to be able to offer some perishable items. All of the waste generated is dealt with privately, we hire in temporary waste solutions at each event site which recycle most of our onsite rubbish this has to be transported and hence more expensive, toilets, tele handlers etc are all picked up and dropped off each week which mounts up in cost, these costs are spread into ticket sales and on site revenue.

So whenever you visit your local theatre, concert venue, music hall, touring show or festival please bear in mind that the background they operate against is not the same as your local pub or corner shop. Their operating costs (and ours) are much much higher and this is covered in the retail price of the goods they offer.

Our menus are available before you arrive so you plan and budget for any drinks and snacks you might wish to enjoy during the show. Please note bag searches are in in operation and bringing you own food or drink in any format on site is prohibited.

The Restaurant Dining Experience

We are proud to present our restaurant dining experiences which boasts English classics from Fortnum & Mason fine teas to luxury finger sandwiches, cheeses, pates, artisan breads along with all your favourite savoury & sweet treats. Once the main arena opens you will be shown to your seats by our host. Upon taking your seat your restaurant server will confirm your menu choice with you, if you wish, you can change or swap between Classic & Gentleman's subject to availability. Your High Tea dining experience is then served to your seat so sit back, tuck in and get to know who you will be deliberating with. You can pre-order the high tea online/via the box office.

The Live Murder Trial

You will be asked to consider the evidence set out before you and try the case on the facts alone. Hear the examination and cross-examination produced by real barristers before hearing from the defendant himself, finally retire to consider your position before delivering your jury verdict.

Your event will form one on a nationwide tour of over 200 live shows. See the national result of all of the events on our website at the end of this year's tour.

As close to jury service as you can get...
